Decadent Worker #95 – 2Dec87

Decadent Worker 95In February of 1968 when D.A. Jim Garrison questioned me before the grand jury in his JFK murder probe, there were names he asked me to identify that meant nothing to me, in addition to those I recognized. A few of the names that failed to ring a bell got repeated many times — insuring that I at least would remember them from then on. One of them was: Dave Chandler. Going down his suspect list, the D.A. would return every so often to Dave Chandler. At one point I said, regarding one of these recurring names, “I believe you mentioned him before.” Garrison nodded and stared accusingly. Obviously, he was sure I knew somebody named Dave Chandler.

Sometime later on, in a conversation with Lane Lake, a French Quarter friend, Dave Chandler’s name came up again. “Who was he?” I asked. “Oh, you remember — that friend of Jim and Bootsie.”

When I returned in the late summer of 1963 from California to New Orleans I became close to Jim Dyer and Bootsie Culp, ecause they were as much into Ayn Rand as I was — unlike most French Quarter bohemians. Dave Chandler, I now recalled, was also an admirer of Ayn Rand. One morning, probably in October or early November, he bought me breakfast in a small cafe near Pat O’Brien’s on St. Peter. What did we talk about? O Jesus, we were sitting there agreeing that the President should be assassinated!

When I asked Clint Bolton, who knew nearly everyone, if he knew Dave Chandler, he said, “Sure, he was a stringer for Life Magazine.”

Shortly after my grand jury appearance in 1968 I spoke to Richard Billings, who had originally contacted me for an interview for Life. When I asked him about Chandler, he answered, “I was his boss at the time, and I got the feeling then that he knew more about the assassination than he was telling me.” At around the same time, Billings quit his job at Life and went to work for the Congressional Record. “One of the reasons I quit,” he told me, “was that I got the feeling they were being less than honest about the Kennedy assassination.”

In the early eighties when I was living with Paula Petty in Tampa, Florida, I dreamt that a Time Magazine cover expanded in front of my eyes until filling my field of vision. A seductive female voice said: “Time for romance!” This cover faded and another appeared in the same way. “Time for adventure!” And so it went, just like a t.v. commercial, until I woke up, terrified. And there are people who want to trust landlords and other capitalists to investigate mind control.

A persistent intelligence community rumor says Pope John Paul II belongs to a Time Magazine secret society, in which he is solemnly sworn to murder me — in full public view with full public approval! When the deadline is and what happens if he failes is not made clear. But it sure makes a nifty contingency program for the assassinations in the meantime.

Time seems to have usurped the functions of both the State and the Mob.

Decadent Worker #83 – 21Oct87

Decadent Worker 83UNDATED ENTRIES FROM MY NOTES MADE A FEW YEARS AGO IN SAN FRANCISCO.

Today everyone is saying that the conspiracies involving Marina Oswald and E. Howard Hunt have got a monopoly on racism. Of course considering what they say about me, anything could be true. Obviously there are racists in the woodwork somewhere or other. #####

Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? Speaking for myself — no. Occasionally I experience a waking nightmare about the subject, though. For what it’s worth, I don’t feel absolutely out of control of my own mind. It is more like there is an additional component to my mentality that occasionally becomes quite intrusive and obnoxious, with which I have to struggle for control of my own life — yet which I am usually capable of resisting. That, of course, could be illusion — the manipulation could be absolutely pervasive and could in fact dot every i of all my arguments against mind control. They could be using me to “eat.”

In DW #21 I described what, as far as I know, was my first mind control experience — an audio hallucination which occurred on the threshold of sleep when I was stationed in 1959 with Lee Oswald at LTA, El Toro Marine Base, Santa Ana and Tustin, California.

Probably my second such experience happened at Subic Bay, in the Philippines, when I was reading a biography of Henry David Thoreau. Only a series of intense nocturnal dreams about the subject matter of the book, it didn’t seem extraordinary at the time.

This happened just after I had become a Marxist, after looking first hand at the starving people of Intramuros in Manila. Up till then I was a Liberal and a Humanist. My Marxism was unusual in that it rejected Lenin, but held a place for Thoreau. For if he had lived at Walden Pond for 29 cents a day, then it could not be much of a burden for a government to furnish everyone with subsistence necessities. Anything beyond that, I figured, each individual could earn. Nevertheless, I wanted the people responsible for Third World shanty towns like Intramuros shot and the institutions that made such misery possible, even thinkable, suppressed and destroyed.

At about the same time, near the turn of the year, at Subic Bay, another Marine, named Mims, who was also an atheist, suggested I read Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Months later, in 1960, I found a copy in a Yokohama book stall and began reading it at the same time I was entering processing to go back to the States and be discharged. Again, I was bombarded with many vivid dreams in which, this time, Reardon and Francisco and John Galt gave lengthy philosophical speeches to reinforce what I was reading in the book. This was evidently the third time I was subjected to mind control. I became a laissez-faire capitalist, convinced absolutely that Ayn Rand was the greatest mind of our age. I gather from Undercover that E. Howard Hunt was stationed, with the CIA, at Atsugi Naval Air Station. So was my Marine outfit. I am told these days, for whatever it may be worth, that the CIA knew of the experiments on me but was not behind them. Instead, they are supposed to have been the work of a laissez-faire capitalist who belonged to the Independent Order of Foresters, of all things, and/or Jose Delgado and Nelson Rockefeller.

When laissez-faire capitalists complain, these days, because I no longer agree with them, I find that just astounding! –Kerry Wendell Thornley

Decadent Worker #76 – 25Sept87

Decadent Worker 76TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

“Kerry, the Cubans are mostly of Spanish blood, and Spaniards are white people. So if there is a war against Communism, and if there is some way of influencing where it occurs, I think it would be good if that war was against somebody other than Cubans — such as an Oriental race.” — Brother-in-law

Those words, spoken before the JFK murder, were the most important I ever heard. (See also KULTCHA #’s 8, 10, 14 & DW #’s 1, 5, 8.) 25 years later they are of life-or-death relevance to millions upon millions of human beings. For not only do they indicate the Indochina war was escalated deliberately, they bring up the possibility that the same conspiracy is behind the unprecedented turmoil and starvation in Africa and Latin America.

Probably the same conspiracy is to blame for surrounding me with deceived agents instructed to convey to me in cant language all manner of irrelevant trivia. If someone tells you to contat me for purposes of relating any data that does not pertain to the escalation of war and/or instigation of genocidal famine — write down their names and any additional pertinent facts. When possible, tape their words. Prepare to assist the prosecution of war crimes trials.

Don’t attempt to communicate with me in cant about unconnected matters. I’m uninterested in community projects to get me laid; they only make me feel psychologically invaded; sexual favors bestowed by the authorities are not the same as, nor any substitute for, sexual freedom among consenting persons; I don’t want to “go home,” as you call it; I want the pigs off my back. Anyone who tells you to get personal with me or to yammer about money and banking or religion (see KULTCHA #15) or who tells you I am not speaking plainly or who insists I’m communicating in cryptic gestures (called “flying”) is almost certainly either a Nazi or a neo-Nazi or an agent or dupe of Nazis. Nor is the reality of mind control sufficient excuse to ignore a holocaust worse than was wrought by Hitler, whose scientists originated thought control anyhow. Those who want to make mind control a single issue should center their agitation on some other subject of experimentation who is not also a witness to crimes against humanity.

That I hated Kennedy at the time of his death (and still don’t think he was great) and that I believed with Ayn Rand in States Rights back then is occasionally thrown up as if to somehow refute me. Need I remind anyone that had I been for Kennedy and against States Rights I would never have been privy to the assassination plot to begin with.

(Ayn Rand’s article on Civil Rights in a 1963 Objectivist Newsletter lamented racism as the most irrational collectivism known to man but defended States Rights in the name of individualism; I agreed with every word of that essay; a year later Robert LeFevre convinced me that under Natural Law there is no such thing as States Rights, that only individuals retain rights. Besides that, these hypocrites are straining at gnats so as to swallow the camel of planned racist mass murder — taking by starvation between 13 and 18 million non-Caucasian lives a year, not to mention past and future wars of depopulation in Indochina!)
