Decadent Worker #63 - 12Aug87

Decadent Worker 63“When it was all over, the CIA operators who watched events unfold in Quarters Eye that Sunday agreed the outcome would have been different if Cabell had not been in charge.” — Peter Wyden, Bay of Pigs: The Untold Story (Simon and Schuster, 1979), p. 196

David Emory, drawing from Fletcher Prouty and other sources, says Cabell neglected to make the early-morning call to Nicaragua required before air support could head for Cuba. Robert D. Murrow says in Betrayal that Maurice Brooks Gatlin Sr. was spying on New Orleans anti-Castro activities director (Division 5, FBI) Guy Bannister for Air Force General Charles Cabell whose brother, Earl Cabell, was Mayor of Dallas. Murrow’s book also leaves the reader with reason to believe there was a pro-Castro agent in Charles Cabell’s (CIA) office. Was it Cabell himself? Did he think it would be a shame to fight a white Castillian and his mostly pure-blooded Spanish people? Was Cabell in contact with pro-Castro Mafia via John Connelly as his racetrack friends?

“May 1972: J. Edgar Hoover has the Gemstone File and threatens to expose Dallas-JFK in an ‘anonymous’ book, The Texas Mafia.” — Bruce Roberts, The Gemstone Files

A.J. Weberman, who proved the ears of the Mystery Tramps match exactly those of E. Howard Hunt and Frank Sturgis and who proved that Richard Sprague of the Assassination Information Bureau doctored a set of Tramp photos in trying to argue they were not of Hunt and Sturgis, decided that Hunt was on the Triple Underpass armed with a rifle when JFK was shot. Whenever I hitch-hike through Dallas I make a pilgrimage to Dealy Plaza. There is only one spot on the Underpass where a gunman could stand without being visible to the other spectators known to have also been up there. In 1979 in that exact spot I found, as if some agent of the conspiracy had left me a clue, a newsletter listing the names of all the Bilderberger members in the U.S. media. The Bilderbergers are the world’s richest club, much associated with Crown Prince Bernhard of Holland and the Illuminati. Did the Bilderbergers put out a contract through Hunt and/or CIA on John Connelly’s life? Brother-in-law told me: “I’m going to talk to everyone in the country who wants Kennedy dead about the idea of assassinating him. Then I’m going to do it. Then I’ll pay them all visits. I won’t say anything, I’ll just smile a lot. After that, I’ll feel free to call on them for favors.”

My 23rd birthday was 17 April 1961, the day of the Bay of Pigs. Slim Brooks gave me a haircut for a birthday present. A dreadlock was originally a lock of hair cut from the head of the victim of a witch’s hex. Brother-in-law mentioned that a strand of hair was as good as a fingerprint for identification. — Kerry Wendell Thornley

“A fnord is a major premise which is overlooked.” (11/27/77 letter to Mohandas and Freda)

“On the election, our computer ‘FUCKUP2′ indicates my changes are 5-2…. The computer is not much, a $300 unit located in Fulton, Union County, Kentucky next to the U.P. office. Since the computer is named the ‘Final Universal Cybernetic Kinetic Unitary Programmer’ it is called as the square of the initials of the location.” (Ibid.)

“You want a good strong sisal fiber made rope, and it should be well waxed with wax from plant origin so the knot slips freely up and down the rope. The rope should be pre-stretched, using a sand bag of the same weight as the Commie Satanist to be disposed of… The knot is put behind the left ear of the customer, the object is not to strangle them, it is to snap the vertebrae at the base of the skull.” (Undated letter to Sally Ballard)

“Right you are, there is no need for putting on the government agents any more. The object of this was to keep the heat off yourself as an individual by hinting at the ‘organization’ behind the great revolutionary conspiracy. Then they did not ‘bust’ you, but kept you on surveillance in hopes of finding the top leaders…

“On the Jesuits, you may be right but the proviso to tell no lies may stumble them. They are so used to telling lies that it is a difficult habit for them to break. I do not trust them as potential co-workers for this reason.

“The political program of the Jesuits would turn the world into one big vast peaceful graveyard. They believe the basic nature of man to be evil and man must be kept under control. This is anathema to an anarchist, who believes the basic nature of many is good — which is true.” (Letter to Kerry, 5/5/’76)

“I did find out the working mechanics of the conspiracy. It comes from the prosecution of Elanore Hemstreet, who worked for the State of California and found two payroll checks to non-existent people were being cashed by a judge. She blew the whistle and the effect was the judge sentenced her to three days in jail for ‘contempt of court.’ She had a friend who was a legal clerk, Bill Lowery. Bill spent months trying to find out what was going on by checking out the legal library. He finally found out. Our legal system is founded on English Law circa 1608. This was a ruling by High Justice Lord Coke that the Crown and the Agents of the Crown were immune to prosectution for their crimes. This is used by judges who throw out iron clad cases brought by serfs against some big corporation. It is thrown out as ‘without merit’ by the judge. You can check on this easy enough and find out it is true. I wrote to the Blackstone College of Law in Chicago and got their brochure which bragged on the law being exactly the same in South Africa, Britain, India, Australia, etc. BRITANIA VAIVES THE RULES!” (9/27/’76 letter to Crabb)

“Pershing’s group identified a secret society in India as the moving force behind all the horseshit going on. Sure Brahamins. This outfit held the world in subjection for several thousand years and I guess they long for the ‘good old days.’…

“Those Feebies and such who spy on you figure to learn what is REALLY GOING ON! They gave me considerable attention so I pulled a Joe Valachi on them and spilled the beans. The trouble was that there were so many pots of beans of so many different flavors that they got their computers all fucked up. Thank God for the kids in Berkeley inventing a resurrection of the Bavarian Illuminati. It gave me another bullshit story to tell the government agents.

Decadent Worker 43SORRY, WRONG LEON

“There was no Castro involvement in the Kennedy killing to the best of my knowledge. If so, it was very indirect. That is, those who wished to curry favor with Castro might have got in it for this reason. This would be the Mafia. They want to get the gambling going again in Cuba. The Mafia gambling joints are in top shape and ready to go. They have caretakers and were undamaged during the ‘revolution.’” — Co-man Ra (9/15/76 letter to KWT)

My respect for Co-man Ra’s expertise on the JFK murder is related to his ability to furnish logical explanations for evidence which otherwise makes little sense. Take, for example, the Second Oswald cases. As one of the people suspected by Warren Report critics of impersonating Lee Oswald just prior to the assassination, I’ve thought more about this subject than many.

These impersonations were exceptionally crude or inept — therefore seeming hardly the work of professionals who could, on the other hand, insure that even the U.S. Government and media would cover up their crime. How would anyone smart enough to get Earl Warren to furnish them an alibi, so to speak, be stupid enough to try to incriminate Oswald before the fact with: individuals using his name who drove cars when Oswald could not drive; impersonators who were older and heavier than Oswald and, most puzzling, why did one of the two impersonators who actually looked something like Lee Oswald insist upon calling himself, instead, Leon Oswald?

Co-man Ra said the crude Oswald impersonations were the work of people within the conspiracy who wanted the truth to come out. For that to happen, the complacent and trusting American public had to be sensitized to the reality of conspiracies. In order to accomplish that, the framing of Oswald was botched by means of overproduction and deliberate ineptitude.

Within a few years of accepting this explanation, I came to realize that fake names are seldom selected among intelligence professionals randomly — especially when they are trying to expose operations in which they are involved. So the next question was: Who was Leon? Probably one of the higher-ups in the conspiracy.

Having by the early eighties gone through a number of convoluted experiences regarding JFK murder studies at the hands of nominal Marxists, among others, the notion of Communist involvement no longer seemed the manifest absurdity it once had. My reading of Murrow’s Betrayal and the Hugh McDonald books, Appointment in Dallas and LBJ and the JFK Conspiracy, lent weight to such a hypothesis. Among serious scholars of JFK’s death, these volumes are not reputable. In substance they are deemed bogus confessions. Among conspirators themselves the first is rumored to be the work of the Illuminati while the other two are said to represent David Rockefeller’s version. What I found convincing about them, notwithstanding, was how much they resembled in content my own assassination-connected experiences. There was present a ring of truth, a certain atmosphere I recognized, not to be found in the more abstract works. If they were disinformation jobs, it was still the disinformation of those who knew what they were talking about. Betrayal says JFK was killed to keep him from learning that Soviet missiles had never actually been removed from Cuba. Appointment and LBJ say the assassination was instigated by the KGM, more or less further implying the CIA found out about it beforehand and either assisted or did not oppose.

As for the Leon mystery, nowhere in my assassinationology readings was it solved. Leon Trotsky? “Oswald Armed for Murder” is shown holding two copies of The Militant, a Trot newspaper. Note as well that the shadow under his nose fails to jibe with the shadow of his body on the ground. When confronted by the police with this photo, Oswald said it was obviously his head pasted on somebody else’s body. So it is possible somebody was trying to imply that Oswald was working for Trotskyists, or they were trying to smear the Trots who, in any case, were high on J. Edgar Hoover’s shitlist.

Then, circa 1981, I read a book called The U-2 Affair with a footnote that seemed to settle the Leon question. As I was to write in the October 1984 issue of The New Libertarian: “At the time of the events in Dallas, the Russian ambassador to Cuba was Sergei N. Kudryavtaev — arrested in Canada many years earlier for participating in the spy ring that stole the secret of the atom bomb from the U.S. at which time he operated under the code name, ‘Leon.’”

This opinion I also previously expressed over the air on KPFA in Berkeley on Doug Wellman’s “SubGenius Hour Radio Show (More Than an Hour, Less Than a Show).”

Any suspicion that I might have fallen in with the assassinations to begin with because I was the fair-haired destiny’s tot of Nazi eugenic plots, was as yet, far from my mind. And while this Leon theory seemed to contradict Co-man Ra’s opinion, it certainly coincided with what Brother-in-law said to me about the desirability of the war against an Asian race instead of against Caucasian Cuban Castillians.

Now although Sam Konkin, who publishes The New Libertarian, is rather too much the anarcho-capitalist for my Bakuninistic tastes, we are friends — and he has never made any secret of his connections with the Institute for Historical Review, with many of whose personnel and ex-personnel Sam is on good and close terms.

One of the reasons I dislike Konkin’s (and Ayn Rand’s) Austrian Economics is that they are so Austrian — part and parcel with them, almost inevitably, come the Holocaust Revisionist Historians who, if they are not practitioners of Hitler’s Big Lie Technique, sincerely believe Hitler was framed for a Holocaust that never was.

Enter Leon Number Three via the Klaus Barbie trial: one of Barbie’s closest post-war associated, also a friend of Otto (Werewolf) Skorzeny, was Belgian nationalist Nazi, Leon Degrelle. Says Charles Higham in American Swastika (p. 291f): “Leon Degrelle is still at it. He appears on the pages of The Journal for Historical Review, published in Torrance, California,” by the above-mentioned Institute. I blush to say, “which states among other things that the Holocaust was an invention of the Jews.” — Kerry Wendell Thornley

Decadent Worker #19 - 12Mar87

DecadentWorker19To guess what must have happened when a well-camouflaged propaganda network and a Vril Burg collided with a CIA project in the Marines, we have to examine the probable nature of the crypto-Nazi beast.

Although most notorious of US Nazi groups, the German-American Bund was splintered. Anton Haegels led a nearly successful revolt to Americanize it. Bundists got scant German aid. Donald Shea’s American Gentile League, Father Coughlin and Christian Mobilization were more highly regarded in the fatherland. The Bund was corrupt. Bundesleiter Fritz Kuhn was convicted of embezzling its funds.

Conspicuously absent from known US Nazi fronts were any aimed at fundamentalist Protestants, unless we count the KKK, for Catholics and Lutherans compromised the bulk of Christian Mobilization. Such ailure to exploit so much latent anti-Semitism is puzzling. Did Goebbels’ well-camouflaged propaganda network in fact lurk behind just such a front?

Logic would lead us to suspect an evangelistic organization with international outreach and with politics of the capitalist pacifist variety then in vogue with the pro-Nazi Isolationist Right. Such a sect would, even if it survived detection, have by now quite a reputation for intrigue and might even be called “Germany” in the older cant language.

Moreover, it would have to be well-camouflaged with not one, but many layers of disguise — so that whoever sensed it was more than a run-of-the-mill denomination would nonetheless be thrown off the track. Instead of an Aryan club they might find evidence of a heavy-duty secret society of rich Black and/or Jewish leatherfreaks devoted to anti-racist terrorism.

One of the first things Brother-in-law told me was that after the war, I.G. Farben financed Nazi secret societies which infiltrated East and West. A wealthy flying saucer cult founded in the fifties called the Urantia Foundation is almost bound to be the principal recruiting front in the US for these.

In my opinion there were CIA types who belonged covertly to either or both the pre-war and post-war Nazi secret societies. When the Vril thoroughbred baby boom reached military age and young men such as Oswald and I joined up, we were bugged and surrounded by Nazi conspirators. So the double agents, the CIA’s crypto-Nazis, were uniquely qualified to play both ends against the middle — the government against the societies and the secret clubs against the State. As a result, men of very much the same water as Nixon and Howard Hunt were suddenly to be reckoned with as never before. Assassinating JFK four years later did not make them powerful; the JFK murder was a consequence of their power.

What later was called the “rogue elephant” CIA was created at Atsugi, Japan, in Marine Air Group Eleven (MAG-11) and for that reason is known in the intelligence community as a Nazi secret society called “Maggie” — which engaged the services, I believe, of Skorseny’s German commando organization gone underground, the Werewolves — who were so brutal that even the SS disliked them.

“Did you know that in the last days of the Third Reich Hitler went on the air and called for the werewolves of Germany to come to the aid of the Nazi cause?” — Old Illuminati Proverb

Decadent Worker #5 - 22Jan87

Decadent Worker 5A 1981 afternoon found me sitting behind a typewriter in Tampa, Florida, dredging up miscellaneous memories of conversations that happened between twenty and eighteen years earlier. I was finally organizing my material about the John Kennedy assassination. Most of the important stuff had already been recorded in affidavits, notebooks and tapes, if not also in the stack of large filing cards behind me. By now I was involved in the loose ends — the scraps of repartee which even in retrospect did not seem to make much sense, or at least not much history when they did, the irrelevant and the mundane. Things about Castro — I was thinking: What did Slim’s weird Nazi brother-in-law say about Fidel Castro? Not much in view of what a hotbed of anti-Castro activity New Orleans was between 1961 and the end of 1963. Most of the time Brother-in-law had been predictably rightwing here as about other things. Only twice that I recalled did he say anything I could interpret as pro-Castro at all.

“You know, Kerry, people like Fidel Castro aren’t going to respect you unless you have to struggle the same way they did.” Why, I wondered aloud, would I possibly ever want Fidel’s respect? A laugh was the only answer Brother-in-law gave me.

What was the other thing? Oh yeah, something about how very few Spaniards in Cuba had married in with the Indians — repeating the same thing, almost word for word, Slim had told me once before. And that leading up to something else. What was it? Oh yeah: his opinion that it would be a shame to fight white people in Cuba.

Anything else? Maybe. What was it? Oh yeah, something about how it would be preferable to go to war against an Asian race, instead.

Oh Jesus: That would have been, it occurred to me for the first time, the war in Indochina!

“Not only that,” I was soon told in the cant language I had developed in 1978 for communicating with the intelligence community, “it is also the source of censorship about the JFK murder.”

Finding out why all this shit is being covered up has been something more than a hobby with me since 1975. My collection of rumors and speculations involved Thule Society terrorism and sabotage intended to undermine public confidence in government and the media, energy cartel supression of anti-profitable technology and, of course, the Illuminati central banking conspiracy. So I added this one — the deliberate escalation of the Vietnam War by racists — to my already unwieldy collection.

On another afternoon a year later just north of Santa Barbara, California, I was sitting beside the road hitch-hiking and smoking my pipe. Only after I rather carelessly dumped out the smoldering ashes in front of me did I remember that it was summer in California where a few sparks can destroy miles of field and forest. As I rubbed the embers out with a pebble I thought about what would’ve happened if I had caused a horrible fire. “Hell,” I said out loud, “I could burn everything in sight, admit it and tell everybody about why the Vietnam war was escalated and I’d be doing more good than harm.” Instead, I met another vagabond up the coast who kindled a small fire in an improvised stone oven and wound up taking the rap when half a dozen firetrucks and forest rangers with extinguishers busted us or an unauthorized fire. I told them about the Vietnam war; they didn’t seem interested, but then the fire only covered about six square inches. I was fined fifty dollars. –Kerry Wendell Thornley
